This Giving Tuesday, CHIP of South Hampton Roads is raising critical funds for our safe sleep program, Sleeptight Hampton Roads.

Did you know unsafe sleep is the number one cause of death for infants 1 week to 1year of age? In Hampton Roads, nearly 300 babies have died in the last decade from unsafe sleep. Each and every one of those deaths were preventable.

With assistance from concerned community sponsors and partners, CHIP created the Sleeptight to combat the tragedy of sleep-related deaths in infants and babies. At CHIP, we firmly believe that as a community, can work together to offer support, education, and resources, so no more babies die from unsafe sleep.

Donations made to CHIP of South Hampton Roads between now and November 29th (Giving Tuesday) will have QUADRUPLE the impact! Thanks to our friends at MiCar Collision Center, Virginia Natural Gas (VNG), and an anonymous donor, each has committed to matching every dollar raised up to $10,000!
